What Is Podcasting?Podcasting was used for the iPods for the first time ever and the term Podcasting means Personal on demand broadcasting. Market now days are full of devices and instruments that that have the ability of making the track podcasts. The podcasts are particularly used for the purpose of downloading and broadcasting of the various forms of data such as the video and the audio data via using the internet. The origin of the podcast was from the broadcasting of the audios of the people but after sometimes the podcast started to expend on a larger scale and people began to use it for the various other media applications as well that included lectures of the teachers, broadcasting of the television shows, promotion of the election campaigns and even announcements for the public safety.
There is great difference of having the podcasting than that of the video and audio files downloading, it gives the user a better understanding about the access and the availability to the various files. While using the simplest mode of downloading, one can access to the various search engines and can download the required files from there but in the case of the podcast it can be received / downloaded by various different ways such as the automatic download, syndication, and by the subscription. The collection of feeds in case of the podcast clients is carried out by the atom protocols; this is done whenever a latest podcast is being posted and in the case of the syndication the most important thing is the use of the protocols along with the clients.
