Large sums of money have been lost due to the slow sales of music records because of piracy. Fight Piracy Campaigns. Campaigns for piracy is not only limited to the music industry but to other media as well. These days, the music industry is trying to pick up the pieces and be more competitive to beat piracy. Numerous anti piracy ads and campaigns are being promoted worldwide. It would be too early to tell how the music industry could recover from such big losses due to the advent of viral and illegal downloads. Until then, the younger generation would continue to invent innovative download software for free music gains.
